Ethereal Visions Publishing – Our Tarot & Art Brand

I’ve always believed illustration is more than decoration; it’s a form of storytelling. It’s how we engage with mystery, reflect on the unseen, and give visual shape to the symbolic threads that run through our lives. That belief is what ultimately led my partner, Hope, and me to create Ethereal Visions, a publishing brand and artistic home for my work in tarot, storytelling, and spiritual illustration.

How It All Began

Ethereal Visions wasn’t born in a boardroom or as part of a business plan. It began, as all meaningful things often do, with a quiet moment of intention.

In 2016, I created a tarot deck for Hope, my partner and co-founder, because she couldn’t find one that felt like home. She wanted a deck that spoke her language, aesthetically and symbolically. So I designed one. That project, The Ethereal Visions Tarot, was personal from the beginning. It wasn’t about market trends. It was about visual storytelling, archetypes, and the emotion behind every image.

We launched a small crowdfunding campaign, unsure of what to expect. What followed was both humbling and affirming: people responded to the deck not just as a product, but as a piece of art that resonated with their spiritual lives. That response is what encouraged us to formally launch Ethereal Visions Publishing in 2017.

The Vision Behind the Brand

Ethereal Visions Publishing is an ongoing project, a creative space where my art, Hope’s writing, and our shared passion for myth, magic, and mysticism come together.

Each product is created by the two of us, often in our shared studio (and under the ever-watchful eyes of our four cats: Mina, Chester, Stormy, and Loki). We combine traditional illustration techniques, narrative frameworks, and esoteric symbolism to design tools that are both beautiful and deeply intentional.

Our goal is to create beautiful, purposeful products that feel sacred, become part of your daily practice, your ritual, and your personal story.

At its core, Ethereal Visions Publishing embodies a profound love for visual storytelling, rooted in mythology, mysticism, and beauty. Through my primary style of Gothic Art Nouveau, I seek to merge the elegant lines of Art Nouveau with the introspective shadows of the Gothic tradition.
